SWJ-BREILMANN becomes SWJ TECHNOLOGY in 2019

Tuscaloosa, AL: Nearly 5 years after Breilmann AG successfully merged with SWJ to create SWJ-Breilmann, the company has decided to change the name of our US company to SWJ Technology. This change, effective January 2019, better reflects the future goals and capabilities of the company. SWJ TECHNOLOGY strives to be the go-to company for best in class customer solutions and rewarding careers. Although it looks like a new start, it is foremost a continuation of very successful years past.

Since its inception in 2009, the company has seen exponential growth, expanding from just three team members in 2009 to 85 by the end of 2018. Along with the growth in employees, the company looked at new industry sectors, and added additional value to its services by investing in the training and development of team members as well as adding industry 4.0 relevant systems, applications and methods to help achieve the goal of becoming the go-to company for best in class solutions. This insight led to revisiting company advertising, appearance and lastly the company name. President Dr. Wolfgang Kneer remarked, “We believe, that with our new name SWJ TECHNOLOGY, we can underline our passion for continuous improvement and development and better represent our solution-based service portfolio… I am more than excited about the next steps and feel very honored to be part of such a great team.”
